After initial conversations with Buki Mosaku, CEO & Founder of DCTT, we were keen to be involved.
For a project with this subject matter – the script had to be water-tight. Collaborating with Buki, we were inspired by previous campaigns for Age UK and Kick Racism Out of Football.
We started out with ‘Let’s Stop’ – a line intended to grab the audience’s attention but decided the ad required a positive resolution that would inspire action.
Due to the planned transmission window, we had a truncated development schedule for this production.
Given the nature of the subject matter, it was essential that we placed the focus on the words – this meant keeping the visuals simple.
The Ad features 6 contributors whom each reflect some unconscious bias.
Directed by Bernhard Pucher and shot by Richard Carlton, we filmed against a demure colourama at CherryDuck Studios before entering post-production.
We are incredibly proud of the result.
Understated yet powerful, this advert, currently out for broadcast, is as close to the original creative as anything we have worked on before.
Thanks to the crew, contributors and the client, we have ended up with a video we are proud to put our name to.
